LIMITED WARRANTY

Stone Concepts, Inc warranty covers defects in material, fabrication and installation. This warranty applies only to granite installed in its original location for a period of 3 years from its original purchase. This warranty is transferable to future owners of your home. If there are any defects in materials, fabrication or installation we will repair or replace the defect item with the same grade and quality of material as the original using an acceptable color match, accepting that there are natural variations in veining and color with natural stone.

For this warranty to be valid the customer and their successors must submit a claim in writing and permit a Stone Concepts, Inc. inspection. This warranty is considered void under the following circumstances: surface staining or etching by leaving acidic or aggressive chemicals in contact with the material for excessive periods of time; surface or edge chipping and scratching caused by negligence and abuse; house settling or foundation movement due to any cause; cabinet movement due to any cause; excessive loading or standing on the countertop; damage by fire or any natural disaster; failure by the customer to exercise reasonable care in using the product. Defects in material does not include natural variations in stone, which include but are not limited to, color variations, water lines, fissures or surface pits and blemishes. This warranty covers seam performance but not the appearance of the seam. Seam failure due to excessive loading; standing or seating on countertop; settling or structural issues unrelated to the counter top installation, are not covered. This warranty does not cover the cost of repairs or replacements undertaken prior to the customer's receipt of a claim acknowledgement and verification from Stone Concepts, Inc..
